It has been an intense 8 weeks of group buys and we have learned quite a bit here. Thank you for those who have supported and we are following all the previous group buys closely and know logistics has been quite a massive hassle.

Going forward, we have made some tweaks to the process:

1. Focusing on one product (supplier) per group buy. Having multiple options is more work and more choices. So each group buy we will focus on one. For this week we will be focusing on KN95 masks:

2. Webinar one time, and moving to the end of the weekly group buy – we enjoy having our weekly group buys, and had a great suggestion to have the webinar during the last hour of the group buy as a last chance to ask questions and participate.

With that – this week we have someone in the community we have gotten to know – Cindy – and she has “taken a risk” as she has said to me multiple times and put a big commitment down with a factory she has a good relationship with to make a production order already.

We will have her featured this week and want to work closely with you and her to see if we can support an active community member to share the risk and help all in this supply chain.

The theme for this week’s group buy it getting into the world of Taiwan manufacturing. In our community, Brendan has been working with a great manufacturer of washable cloth masks and has been kind enough to offer that to our Loadpipe community.

We’ll also talk about the experience he had buying from Taiwan and shipping to USA last week on the webinar (basically, very smooth!)

The second item we have this week for the Loadpipe group buy number 7 is China logistics to Los Angeles. A bunch of buyers have been asking to help share the shipping together as a group – and we have a few logistics agents in the community who would love to work with you.

We hope everyone had a good Buddha birthday and May Labour Day holiday. China is slowly getting back to work this week and we are offering a single type of product for this week.

But: Many other group buys are in the works for the coming weeks – such as more vendors with various mask offers – pre-production, inventory sharing in California, and more.

So this week, we are keeping things simple – well complex – but less quantity of offers:

Mask Making Machines

Have been requested from people all around the world, as they want to invest in their own manufacturing in their home country.

I can’t blame them for that!

So this week we will have the Loadpipe webinar focused on the machines and bringing on various factories and agents who know this product line well to answer questions and explain it.

2) We have USA stock vendors now – and added them to this week’s group buy. Many didn’t want to wait to buy from China production and the shipping – so we are starting to list those with landed stock.
